Does the milk taste fishy?

No, there are no noticeable sensory changes to the milk.

Does pasteurisation and processing of the milk cause oxidation of the omega 3?

No, the milk can be pasteurised or UHT treated and made into various dairy products.

What about heavy metal and other contaminants?

Ingredients used in the manufacture of the stockfeed supplements are produced to food grade standards. The stockfeed supplements will not cause transfer of heavy metals or other contaminants into the milk.

How much omega-3 can be transferred into milk through natural fortification?

This is dependant on the ingredients used in the supplement and levels fed to the cows.

Can natural fortification of milk produce milk with omega-3 that meets current food standards regulations?
